Limit Results To Only These Data Types

Select data types below in order to limit the result to only those data types.

Data Type Selection Checkbox Data Type Name Result Count Data Type Definition
A "State", generally meant to be used within the context of APCD
An operation between two or more Data Elements and / or Derived Data Elements. Generally used to express arithmetic logic within a measure.
CEDD Object
Common Format
This is a Composite Data Element
A unit of thought constituted through abstraction on the basis of characteristics common to a set of objects.
A set of valid Value Meanings.
Constraint
Context
An instance of a measure from the Federal Register, Table #2 or #6
This is a Data Agreement
This is a Data Collection
A unit of data for which the definition, identification, representation and permissible values are specified by means of a set of attributes.
A Concept that can be represented as a Data Element, described independently of any particular representation.
A collection of Data Elements
An input to or output from a step of a use case
Denominator
A derived data element is a data element derived from other data elements using a mathematical, logical, or other type of transformation, e.g. arithmetic formula, composition, aggregation
This is the simulation of a Electronic Health Record that contains a minimal amount of information. Generic data elements (concepts) are used instead of specific data elements. this object is currently in experimental mode.
HITSP Entry
Exclusion
A FileSpecification, generally meant to be used within the context of APCD
A concept that can be represented in the form of a Data Element, described independently of any particular representation.
HITSP Constraint
Meaningful Use Measure
Initial Patient Population
This is an Initiative
Meaningful Use Measure
A metric to show the degree of a characteristic, such as a measure of quality or of performance.
A Measure Set is an upper level classification containing measures of similar content. This class was created for hierarchical purposes. For example, the HITSP Quality Measures can be divided into three Measure Sets; STK, VTE, and ED
This is a Model Concept
This is a Model View
C32 Construct
Definition for Clinical View
Numerator
Patient Safety Form
A model of information that contains the standard element and the data flow attributes
Quality Data Element List
This is a layout of the record.
A group of entities of type State; examples of a Region might be The Midwest, New England, or the Southwest - where each region is composed of a mutually exclusive group of State entities. Multiplicity is 1:N; a State may belong to only one Region, but a Region would be composed of multiple States.
HITSP Section
A portion of a Transaction object. For example, a transaction might have a header segment, a body segment, and a trailer segment. In this case, segments are the composite parts of the transaction. However, multiplicity is M:N; a Segment may belong to many Transactions, and a Transaction would be composed of multiple Segments.
Meaningful Use Standard
A list of codes from the standard concept
The standard element
A state of the union of the United States of America.
Terminology structure
A transaction is an agreement, communication, or movement carried out between separate entities or objects, often involving the exchange of electronic data or metadata.
A description of steps or actions between a user (or "actor") and a software system which leads the user towards something useful.
A statement describing a specific action which is to take place during the execution of a use case step
An entity which takes part in a step of a use case
a pre-condition required for the successful execution of a use case step
A scenario which can be described using one or more use cases
a single portion of a use case, when executed in the correct sequence, forms the basis of the use case. Describes a the action to take place, actors, artifacts, etc. for that individual step.
The artifact (including such EDI artifacts as EHRs / PHRs) which is exchanged between actors during the execution of a Use Case Step
A set of permissible values. It provides representation, but has no implication as to what data element concept the values may be associated with nor what the values mean.
An item whose purpose is to group administered items together as related versions.
Vocabulary to refer to a set of value domains
an interdisciplinary collaboration of researchers working on new research activities
In some cases, the data element will have additional restrictions limiting the values that can be communicated within it. HITSP may apply restrictions to a data element when it is communicated. These restrictions could be with regard to its precision, the units, and the range of legal values that may be transmitted or other restrictions as necessary. These will be described in or referred to by this column. This column defines universal constraints that apply to data elements regardless of the Base Standard (i.e. HL7 CDA, HL7 V2 messages, NCPDP, etc.) allowing for harmonized constraints across the various Base Standards. Additional data element constraints may also be defined in the CDA-specific sections of this document (2.2.x), or in HITSP Components, Transactions, Transaction Packages or Interoperability Specifications.

The Search tool is provided to assist users in finding items in USHIK based on the content of various fields such as item name, definition, etc.

The items which are returned may be of any item type that USHIK supports and describe data from any organization with which USHIK has partnered. The "Advanced Options" tab is available to filter search results to a smaller list by allowing users to select those specific types of items, from specific organizations, which are included in search results.
