CMS, AHRQ, and ONC Integrate eCQI Resource Center with USHIK.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), and ONC have integrated the eCQI Resource Center with United States Health Information Knowledgebase (USHIK). USHIK is a publicly available database with technical measures and specifications for calculating quality metrics established for federal payment reimbursements. The recent integration allows users to compare different versions and metadata of electronic Clinical Quality Measures. Users can also download measure version details in several file formats for use in different software programs. The new functionality is found in the measure tables: Eligible Hospitals and Eligible Professionals.

October 31, 2014
The 2015 annual update of the 2014 eCQM specifications are not available in USHIK. We hope to provide full functionality on this new data set soon. Please refer to the eCQI Resource Center or to the CMS eCQM Library Page for the most current measure specifications.
On October 31st a Meaningful Use issue in USHIK was corrected wherein certain Quality Data Elements (QDEs) were incorrectly linked to multiple Value Sets. Only QDEs from the April and July 2014 releases of electronic Clinical Quality Measures (eCQMs) were affected.
The affected QDEs included negation rationale attributes. For these QDEs, USHIK indicated the correct linkage to the correct Value Set as well as an extra, incorrect linkage to an additional Value Set. For example, a QDE associated with CMS2v4, "Risk Category Assessment not done: Medical reason contraindicated" was correctly linked to the "Medical reason Contraindicated" Value Set; however, the Value Set "Adult Depression Screening" was incorrectly linked to this QDE as well. This issue was present on USHIK screens and within USHIK downloads. Please note that we are not aware of any errors with eCQMs, QDEs or Value Sets in USHIK; this issue was consisted only of an extra, incorrect Value Set linkage for a particular subset of QDEs.
We believe that the issue has been completely resolved throughout USHIK, including all screens and download files. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your continued usage of USHIK. If you have questions or concerns about this issue or our resolution, please contact us with the Feedback mechanism on the USHIK website.
