Clinical Quality Measures: Recommendations for Specialists

Determining appropriate Meaningful Use clinical quality measures for specialists can sometimes be challenging. This resource compiles information from various specialty associations, and provides the clinical quality measures that each of those associations supports. Recommendations are grouped by clinical category, and links to the where these recommendations were found are provided in the references section. If a measure suggested by a specialty association could not be confirmed as identical to the Meaningful Use measure. an NQF number was not provided. However the suggested measures listed are either comparable to the Meaningful Use measure, or suggest the general content of a Meaningful Use measure is applicable to a particular specialty.

This sheet groups clinical quality measures into the following categories (listed alphabetically):

See the Appendix for additional information on all clinical quality measures.
